You can help parishioner Christian Mullan survive the Amador County Fair's “Suvivor Amador” contest! If Christian wins, he will donate the $500 prize to his favorite charity, the newly formed Amador Catholic Teens (ACT) Youth Group. But wait, there's more! Christian is also able to collect donations all during the fair, which will be given to ACT whether he wins or not. Christian would like any winnings to be applied toward the Youth Group's next mission trip. For ACT, this is a win-win situation!
Christian needs your help. He enters the contest with nothing but the clothes on his back and a sleeping bag, so he'll be looking for food (only FAIR FOOD allowed)! Also:
- BE THERE to cheer him on -- he gets points for loudest cheering
- DONATE -- he gets points for the most donations
- GET IN FREE -- Wear a pirate's costume (even though the fair's theme is "Safari"), and arrive before 6 PM
- CHEER, CHEER, CHEER!!
- TELL EVERYONE -- text, email, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter. Spread the word!
