The OLOP Cookbook of 2005

The Our Lady of the Pines Cookbook of 2005 was a resounding success!  The book was compiled with mouth-watering recipes from many St. Patrick Parish parishioners, and the entire inventory of cookbooks was sold within a month.  The proceeds benefit the OLOP Scholarship Fund, which awards $1,000 to a graduating high school senior.

Following are corrections that you'll want to make in your copy of the cookbook.  These typos sneaked past the editors and publishers of the cookbook--which only shows that we're all too human!  If you spot other things in the cookbook that need correcting, please contact Blanche Rueda at 209-295-4025.

Correction
Page 15, Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini: Ingredients should call for 1 lb. Italian SAUSAGE (not Italian seasoning).
Correction
Page 19, White Bean and Potato Soup: Recipe title should be White Bean and Polenta Soup.
Correction
Page 42, Crustworthy Meatloaf: Ingredients should call for 1-1/2 lbs. ground beef (not 1/2 lb).
Correction
Page 43, Italian Delight: Ingredients should call for 1 small can tomato SOUP (not tomato sauce). However, note that the next ingredient listed, 2 small cans tomato sauce, IS correct.
Correction
Page 70, Tuna and Noodle Casserole: Instructions should read "Add tuna mixture" (not tomato mixture). New!
Correction
Page 116, Prune Cake: In the list of ingredients, add the item 2C FLOUR. First sentence of the instructions should read, "Mix eggs, buttermilk, oil, and chopped prunes."
