After the Youth Group returned from the Yakama mission trip, they received the following letter from one of the YouthWorks! leaders. The letter speaks volumes about the spirituality and integrity of our youth!

I just wanted to say I have really appreciated having you guys here this week.  It's weird, while Catholics, Lutherans and Methodists are the three most represented denominations on YW! Trips, the staffs overwhelmingly come from less 'traditional' faiths, so often I have felt like an outsider.  I was very excited to have a Catholic group here.

I am even more excited after seeing you all in action this week.  You were able to look past problems this week and let yourself enjoy the week.  I also saw a willingness to let yourselves grow spiritually as you were exposed to many styles of worship you have never really experienced before.  The staff was very impressed with you, and so was I.  You really made me proud to be a Catholic this week.

I wish you all the luck in whatever direction God sends you.  You are in my prayers, please keep us in yours.
